Single + New Material

So we’ve got a new single coming out August 25th.

Control Freak, and its B-side (which will go unnamed for now) - both of which are a very different sound from We Are Replicants. Particularly much harder.

You’ll be happy to know that remix stems will be released for Control Freak, so you’ll be able to mess around with it as much as you want.

Some of you may be wondering what happened to that EP I promised a couple of months ago. (And the sampler I released and then took down…)

I decided to change the release schedule around a bit, as the defined sound I thought I had for the EP kind of morphed into something else, something worthy of an album. There are about 10 or 11 new finished songs in the Blush Respone catalog, and you will hear *most* of them, as I work on album 2 and these new songs at the same time. I don’t have a clear plan as to what will happen to the songs that don’t make the next album, but you will hear them in some form or another. I want you to have as much Blush Response material available to you as possible, because you hearing it is what matters the most to me.

Its a bit premature to be talking details for the album, but I have a concept I am developing for it, and I want it to tell a very complete story.

That is all I can say right now, but I promise it’s worth the wait.
